Kilndown Choir had another successful, sell out event last night at the Kilndown Village Hall on a hot summers evening. The "Sounds of Summer" concert featured a diverse genre of music from Rutter, Abba, Elgar to The Beatles. As well as the adult choir, there was also the junior choir, and several smaller groups of singers.
There was also plenty of opportunity for audience participation with everyone joining in with Hey Jude, which nearly lifted the roof off the house!
During the interval the whole hall emptied out on to the Millennium Green for a picnic where it was a great opportunity for family and friends and family to enjoy the evening and catch up.
All profits raised from ticket sales and the bar are donated to the choirs nominated charities for 2019.
