You may have heard that Goudhurst Village Play Area at the top of Back Lane, is in desperate need of renovation. The Play Area is used by a large section of our community, from toddlers to teenagers, but unfortunately much of the equipment has now been condemned and subsequently removed.
The Play Area is a vital space for the children of our community so they may play outdoors and be physically active; it is sorely missed by children, parents and grandparents alike. We are excited to tell you that our community, supported by Goudhurst Parish Council, is embarking on a fundraising mission to enable us to fully upgrade the Play Area with brand-new play equipment.
